Beautifully appointed rooms, welcoming and humourous staff, great breakfasts. While we were there they were building the gardens that they had advertised...kind of a disappointment. No meals available other than breakfast, but plenty of restaurants nearby. No internet. If your credit card doesn't have one of those swiping chips, bring cash. If you want to be closer to Iron Bridge, try the Library House, although if you are driving, check with them where you'd park. We walked by the Library House and couldn't see any parking. If you stay at the old Rectory, it's about a two mile walk to Ironbridge and about a fifteen minute walk in the other direction to several restaurants and pubs. If you don't care about the internet, I'd recommend the Old Rectory.
