Visiting NYC without eating a bistro burger, would be like going to my home town and not visiting my mother... you just don't do it. Probably I have taken some years off my life by eating all of these burgers smothered in cheese and bacon, plus the obligatory big plate of fries... but I'm ok with that. It's worth it.

The best burger. Period. Ten bucks = beer, fries and a bacon cheeseburger. Did you know they fry the bacon with the fries making everything very delicious?  The lines are brutal. Go early or go late, but go often.

$2 ales and the best burgers in town make this a must visit when you're in NYC. The Bistro Burger comes with bacon, cheese, and fixins - grilled to medium rare whether you like it or not. They fry their bacon in the frier where they fry their fries so the fries are top notch as well. They also have one of the best jukeboxes around. Go off hours to avoid lines. Go on Sunday afternoons to meet some classic West Village characters sitting at the bar.
