We stayed in a small boutique hotel in Cape Town called Alta Bay. It's in the garden district a bit up the side of Table Mountain just outside of the main part of the city. It was very contemporary and a welcome escape from the city. The owner Ariel is super friendly and makes you feel like you're at home. I strongly recommend staying at Alta Bay.
