(5)Every year I overpack for Cape Cod and promise I will not do the same again. The fact is, it is absolutely sufficient to bring bathingsuits/ beach wear and nothing else. Stylish outfits from your normal life just aren't necessary at all...

Speak for yourself. i find it important to look good on the cape ... ok, I'm just kidding. Jeans, shorts, bathing suit, t-shirts. Done.
