- Wangduephordang is a town in central Bhutan, it also shares it name with the state/district of Wangduephordang.

Nearly all visitors arrive via plane from Paro, the country's sole airport, Wangduephordangis 2 hour drive from the capital and about 2hrs 45 min from the airport .

Wangduephordang is the meeting place of three Major Highways. There are daily Busses form Phuentsholing,Thimphu and Paro.Wangduephordang also lies on the route from the capital to Trongsa,Samdrupdzongkhar,Mongar,Damphu and Geliphu.

The town is small enough to negotiate on foot.
- Taxi: There is a set rate for taxis plying city routes. Maximum is around 70nu. There is a taxi stand in center of town. Taxis also cruise and can be hailed at any point.
- Bus. There exists a bus service to nearby villages of Gaselo but only on saturdays and sundays. .
- The Chimme Lhakhang, dedicated to the Mad Monk ( Drukpa Kinley ) located on a scenic hillock and visible from the lobesa calley. All Children named in this Lhakhang or Monastry have names starting either with "chhimi" or "Kinley". A brief Walk of about 20 min through scenic paddy feilds and you reach the Monastry.
- Wangduephordang Town. Fondly named the matchbox town.Wangduephordang town consists of few permanent buildings the rest are temporary houses made of wood .There are plans to shift the town to another location.
- Lobesa Valley. Beautiful Valley especially in the months onf june/july during the rice planting season and sept/october during the rice harvesting season.
