Shei-pa National Park (雪霸國家公園, [1]) is the fifth national park of Taiwan. The park was established in 1992 by the Government. Located at the border of Hsinchu, Miaoli and Taichung Counties. This is a region of magnificent mountains, creek valleys, rare animals and plants.

Get off freeway No. 1 at Miaoli Interchange, take Provincial Highway No. 6 toward Gongguan (公館) and Dahu (大湖), and in Wenshuei (汶水) take County Highway No. 62 toward the Visitor Center of the headquarters.

- Guanwu Recreation Area (觀霧遊憩區) as one of its three recreation areas within the park. This place is the only approach to climbing Dabajian Mountain (大霸尖山), one of Taiwan Top 100 Mountains. But so badly, its link road from Hisnchu was severely damaged by the typhoon in 2004, still posing the potential danger of landslide, so this recreation area is temporarily closed.

- Shei-pa National Park Visitor Center (雪霸國家公園管理處), 100 Shueiweiping, Fuxing Village, Dahu Township, Miaoli County, [2], is located in Dahu Township, Miaoli County, near the Taian Township. It is the Headquarters of this national park. The Visitor Center is equipped with a display hall, audio-visual room and gift shop. There is the best place to understand anything of the park within a short time. The Visitor Center is open from 09:00 to 16:30, closed on Mondays.
- Syuejian Recreation Area (雪見遊憩區), is set up on the northwest side of national Park. It's lying in Taian Township of Miaoli County. And there is the newest place of the park, so its traffic condition is not good.
