Sayaxché is a city in Peten Guatemala.

Getting to Sayaxche is not particularly difficult, if coming from Guatemala city catch a bus to Coban then a bus to Sayaxche it will most likely be two microbuses from Coban the first to Cruces the second to Sayaxche. I got my backpack stolen on the microbus from Cruces to Sayaxche so take care.

Hotel La Pasion - Cheap rooms with TV and private bathrooms $7 (May 2008), my toilet didn´t have a seat and it is noisy as it is near the river crossing where the barge leaves from to transport vehicles.
