North West Highlands Geopark is a UNESCO Geopark situated in the north west of the Scottish Highlands. The c. 2000 square-kilometre Geopark has coastal cliffs, beaches, mountains caves and waterfalls and a variety of unique geological features.
The North West Highlands Geopark [1]is a European and UNESCO Geopark. A geopark is a region with a great geological heritage and various ways by which the geology is explained to the visitor, for instance by visitor centres or geological trails. There are at present 32 European Geoparks all endorsed by UNESCO. See the website of the European Geopark Network [2] for other European Geoparks.
The North West Highlands Geopark is a geological wonderland: the rocks range from the 3 billion year old Lewisian Gneiss to the Torridonian Sandstone which makes up the spectacular mountains such as Ben More Coigach, Suilven and Quinag. White quartzite caps many mountains and the largest area of limestone in Scotland occurs in the Geopark. For geologists, however, the most famous feature is the Moine Thrust, a large geological fault that attests to the vast forces that built the Caledonian Mountain Range, some 400 million years ago. Much more recently, during the Ice Age, vast glaciers sculpted the mountains and valleys as we see them today.
The geological history and the way that geological processes shaped the landscape is explained in various visitor centres and road side panels. The visitor can also learn more on guided walks during the summer months.

I absolutely love boutique hotels and this is a great hotel in any aspect. I've been to many hotels that lack that special feeling you look for when traveling to a different country. The rooms are very beautiful (get one of the Pasha's wives' rooms - they're spectacular) and the food is exquisite. I enjoyed the breakfast very much and the friendly atmosphere and lovely garden.
For me it's also important to have Wi-Fi in the room, and the hotel provided free unlimited access.
Overall, if you can afford it, it's a choice you won't regret!

Body: When I say market there may be other words, which better describe the souks - maze like is possibly the best. Having landed in the Moroccan city fresh off a cheap flight from London, I was amazed. The taxi had brought me straight to the Jemaa el-Fna and it was absolutely heaving.
I meandered towards the opening of the world famous souks avoiding snake charmers, and monkey handlers. Soon the souk had engulfed me and I was suddenly swamped by goods and store owners. There was a wide array of goods, from leather belts to lanterns all laid out in a tempting and alluring way. These covered markets twisted and turned for what seemed like miles, at some points small alleys would lead to tanneries or open up to squares lined with small cafes.
In the end I found what I was looking for and sat down to a mint tea – the staple beverage for many of the people who live in the city. The warm sweet drink immediately relaxed me and I set off once again in search of my accommodation.
With riads scattered across the city you can stay in a house and someone will even cook for you if you want them too – at an extra cost, of course, but it is worth it. These houses are hidden down back streets and can be incredibly difficult to find, but the hassle definitely pays off, especially when you step out onto the roof terrace and see the city laid out before you.
At night the city changes and people pack into the main square for entertainment and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. There are also many other stalls offering freshly cooked food. With a wide array of dishes in front of you there is a huge amount of choice, from the bog standard ground chickpea soup to the seemingly lavish kebabs which are cooked right in front of you. A delicious end to my first day in Marrakesh.

Delhi, the political capital of India has been a hot favourite amongst travelers since time immemorial. No wonder ancient travellers like Fahein, Hieun Tsang included observations about Delhi in their travelogues. The city is the perfect blend of the old and new. Here one can find swanky chrome and glass towers standing next to heritage buildings reminding people of the transformation that the city has undergone from ancient times. It is said that the city has been built and re-built almost thirteen times and a sightseeing tour of the city will reveal how true the statement is.
To explore Delhi in all its glory, you should ask the travel agent, who would have booked your flights to Delhi to arrange a sightseeing trip for you. There are a lot of travel agents and tourist information offices in and around the Central Business District of Connaught place from where you can hop on to any luxury bus that will take you to a tour of the sights and sounds of this city.
A single day tour would take you to places like Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Jantar Mantar, Parliament House, Purana Quila, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi Zoo and similar such places.
The city also has no dearth of places of worship for people of all religious faiths. Be it Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christianity, Bahai, everyone will find a place to pay homage to their chosen deity. LotusTemple, AksharDham Temple, Birla Mandir, Chhattarpur Mandir, Jama Masjid, St. James Church, and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib not only serve as places of religious worship but also highlight the architectural brilliance of dynasties who ruled Delhi during the medieval ages.Lodi gardens, Mughal Gardens, Garden of Five Senses are some other places that you shouldn't miss on a sightseeing tour of Delhi.Though these are some of the important places, you should set aside at least a week to explore Delhi extensively.
As you explore Delhi, one destination at a time, you will discover that the city still retains the vestiges of the erstwhile Mughal and British Empires which held sway over the city for centuries together. So, the next time you plan to visit Delhi, book your cheap flights to Delhi during the October to March season that is perhaps the best time to explore the city in all its glory. The warm winter sunshine would actually cheer you up and you would love to travel, roam, shop till dusk and keep coming back for more.

High cost of IVF treatments in the U.K and in the U.S. compels many couples to explore other options. That’s why fertility tourism is gaining popularity. IVF treatments cost a great deal in the United States. For example, couples that require donor eggs for their IVF cycles typically spend in excess of $25,000 in the U.S.
Traveling abroad for your IVF treatments may not be an option for everyone. However, couples willing to travel outside the U.S. can save anywhere between 40 and 60 percent depending on the complexity of IVF treatments [http://www.themedvacation.com/donor-eggs-ivf-cost].
There are great overseas clinics with success rates as high as those by leading U.S. clinics, you just have to know them. Buyer beware applies not only to couples who are considering IVF treatments outside the U.S. Even if you are in the U.S., you have to do your home work to identify a great clinic and RE. If you decided to consider treatments abroad, make sure you check credentials of your doctors. Ask the clinic whether they belong to local or international IVF organizations and/or accredited by certain IVF accreditation agencies.

Vietnam is a friendly and safe place to travel. With a sprinkling of common sense, your trip should be smooth and trouble free. Tourists usually complain about over-aggressive street vendors, tour operators with a bad attitude and dangerous driving. However, with a cool head and sensible planning, one can avoid these problems.
DO’S
• Greetings are no different to western countries, there are no cultural formalities that as a foreginer you would be expected to know or practise.
• Vietnamese dress conservatively. Despite the heat, it’s best not to show off too much skin. If you do, especially girls, you’ll only draw stares from the locals.
• Dress well when visiting pagodas. No shorts or tatty beer t-shirts. Shoes are fine, and rarely will you have to remove them. If unsure, just follow what the locals do.
• Drink plenty of bottled water, especially when walking around sightseeing. No need to carry huge bottles around with you, a vendor is never far away and no doubt they will find you before you find them.
• Keep your cash, credit cards, airline tickets and other valuables in a safe place.
• Travel with recommend tour agencies. Even if you plan to buy tickets when in country, research your journey a little first on the Internet. A good resource is Lonely Planet’s Thorn Tree Forum, where fellow tourists discuss travel in Vietnam. This way you avoid unreliable tour agencies and badly run hotels.
DON’TS
• Wear a lot of jewellery or take a bag with you. Violent crime is highly unusual in Vietnam, but petty crime is more apparant. If you have a bag, or tout a digital camera around your neck, you are a potential target.
• When taking a ride by motorbike taxi (xe om) make sure your bag, if any, is not on display or easy to grab. Bag snatches, although still rare, are probably the most likely crime a tourist would encounter, and it raises the probability immensely if you are tailing a camera or a laptop in the wind.
• Don’t wear singlets, shorts, skirts or dresses, or revealing clothes to temples or pagodas.
• Physical displays of affection between lovers in public are frowned upon. That’s why you may come across couples holding hands but not hugging or kissing.
• Losing your temper in Vietnam means a loss of face. Keep a cool head and remain polite, you’ll have a greater chance of getting what you want.
• Remember, this is Vietnam, a devloping country, and things don’t quite work as you are maybe used to. Don’t be paranoid about your safety, just be aware of your surroundings.
