Kolomenskoye is the former Russian imperial estate and is now a very popular weekend destination for Muscovites. It is a vast collection of churches and other buildings from the 16-17th centuries, including some wooden architecture that was transported here by the Soviet government from Karelia. Kolomenskoye is located in the south-east of Moscow near a metro station of the same name.

The Park is located close to Kolomenskasy metro station, about 300 meters from the metro exit. There are no signs directing tourists to the park entrance. Take first coach from the center, then turn left in the tunnel and rights. There are two major entrances to the park. After exit just go straight and you will bump in one of them.

There is other more romantic way to get there. During the summer season special boats operate on Moscow river. There are several loading docks along river. If you are in the center of Moscow, take boat to the south. There is a loading dock right in the park. Not all boats go there, so check it with the crew.

There is a free entrance to the park and museum. There are individual fees for each exhibition ($2-$10 per exhibition)
