Car or walk. Take the B8009 from the A863, which goes to Dunvegan. After a short distance, follow sign left to Carbost.

You will have no difficulty in finding the distillery where the well-known Talisker whisky is made. [1]. You can then follow the road to the very fine Talisker Beach.

If you do the tour at the distillery, enjoy your free sample - but unless you have some atavistic desire to buy a bottle there and then, sad to say you will do better at a supermarket!
