• European Festival of Folklore, 2nd weekend in July. Beer, music, costumes, beer, folklore, beer, and beer come to Bitburg in this annual event. 50 groups from 15 countries present folk music and entertainment in national dress. There are events throughout the town, and a big amusement park, too. And, of course, lots of beer.

Hotel Eifelstern has nice rooms for reasonable prices, and excellent dining on site. On the weekends the hotel takes on a different character as the area bars and clubs are opened.
